Aaron keeps telling me that Lincoln's room looks more like a cell than a little boys bedroom. I would have to agree! So I am doing something about it!
I called my sister Darby and conned her into coming up to help paint (in return I'll let her husband watch my kids and then feed them mac and chez for dinner, good trade huh) Anyhow, I asked Lincoln what type of room he'd like he had all sorts of wild ideas like "a yellow room" I steered him into another direction and this is the plans we drew up on conference Sunday.
Yesterday I started the bed. It took me all day to design the dang thing and without a table saw i found it difficult to do many of the cuts. After lots of re-cutting and much more cussing i finally got it put together last night. Today I spend 5 hours painting it and finally finished. I had Lincoln come look at it and asked him what he thought. He said " Cool... Why isn't it red?" He has this on going argument with his Grandpa Wade over which tractor is better, Green ones or red ones. Lincoln always says that red ones are better. I took him with me to the paint store and had him help pick up the colors. He chose the green. I guess after seeing it on he changed his mind.
Now, I just have paint his room and then figure out how to get the dang thing in his room! I'll post more pics when it's all done!
