GO FISH!

Sunday afternoon we decided that we needed to get out of the house and do something. Aaron had just checked on our aligator, yes, i said aligator. We've had it for about 5 years. I was terribly sick and a newly wed when he saw and ad in the thrifty nickle advertising an aligator. When he asked if I cared if he got an aligator I said "Sure sweetie, anything if you will just get me a drink of water, some pepto and the remote." So after he got me the remote, he called the guy and now we have had an aligator for almost 5 years. Wahoo -ewww. I know.

The only reason Hector is in my tub is because we were moving to our house at the time and his tank was to heavy to move with water in it. don't worry, I really scrubbed it clean with bleach!

Boy, If you didn't think I was a red neck type I guess you will now. awww... m-a-a-a-n!

Anyway, it is in a tank down at the farm shop and needed something to eat. So we gathered up the kids and headed out to Indian Springs or what is left of it. We caught a few fish and and fed the ducks and geese. The kids loved it. I think the geese would have eaten my kids if I hadn't been there to hold em' down. After 6 hotdog buns and a few rocks that for some reason the fish would eat..., we headed for home. Since we caught so many tiny fish with the bigger ones I set up a tank on my office. Sari loves to play tidal wave and swish her hand around the tank so that the little castle inside floats all over and all the plants wave back and forth. Lincoln has to say hi to each fish (about 13 of em') each morning and after his nap.

Boy I hope they don't miss one or two when they get to be big enough for Hector. (yes the aligator's name is Hector.)
