What is your husbands name?
Aaron Jed Povey - AKA: Grove. Who knows where he got that one but his brother is also called Grove. Mostly Aaron gives out the nicknames especially restaurants. ie, Road house = Texas Road kill; Red Lobster=slobster; GreenT= Green Latrine; Applebees= Craplebees; and a few I better not put own.
How long have you been married?
It will be 6 years January 24th or 26th. We never can remember the exact date which really isn't that big of a deal since I am always hugely pregnant or just had a baby when our anniversary comes around.
How long did you date?
Hmm. Well we met on a blind date on a Friday just before Halloween and then got married the following January. So including the engagement it was about 3 months. We decided to get married just before Thanksgiving and officially got engaged on my birthday December 4th.
How old is he?
The big 3-0. It was a tough birthday for him
Who is taller?
He is by about an inch. - The right(or wrong) shoes changes that in a hurry.
Who is smarter?
With farm stuff, vehicles, and math problems, he is. I always ask his opinion with these things before making my decision. i don't always listen to his advise though.:)
Who does laundry?
Ha ha, Umm. I kinda cheat on this one. The answer is Becky. I do sometimes but I hate folding and putting away so it usually just sits in a basket till it's all used up. Aaron even has to wash some of his laundry after asking me to make sure he has clean underwear the next day. (But hey, I pay lots of money for this little luxury!)
Who pays the bills?
We both do. He pays the bigger ones like insurance and medical while I pay the household stuff like telephone, grocery, clothes and fix-it jobs (since I am always re-doing a new room) Since we both have our own businesses bill paying day sounds like this. " So, you wanna write the telephone bill off in your business or mine?" (He says) "Well, I guess I did send a few faxes for the farm this month, I'll pay it, but you got it next month"
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
He always has. I always try ti find reasons to switch. Like when the sippy cup falls from the sleeping babe's little fingers next to me and leaks on my side but I usually end up right back in the wet spot no matter what.
Who cooks dinner?
Me, unless I can convince Becky to do it before she leaves at 6:00.
Who is first to admit they are wrong?
Me, I always say sorry first but then he will admit it when he was being mean or unsympathetic. But he never loses an argument so we just never argue. :)
Who kissed who first?
He kissed me.... and kissed me.... and kissed me..... But he did ask first. (by the way it was a whole month after we started to date.Really it was!)
Who wears the pants?
I'd say we both do at different times. But usually he does since I try never to argue with him since he never loses an argument.:)

Are you kidding me...do I need to write down your anniversary day so you two can remember it? I guess when you have something every day in January to celebrate they all just kinda blend together. I say you double the fun and celebrate both days.

janel, you bet we can celebrate your b-day. We will celebrate Lincoln's birthday the 29th and our annivesery sometime around that and then the new baby's birthday around the 14th. oh and New Years and your birthday on the 19th. sounds like a plan to me!
