After 4 batteries and numerous tears (the kids not mine) over this *%!$ Tractor, I have had enough. The dang thing just wouldn't work. So I tore it apart. After a visit to Napa Auto parts (thank you Kade), some old inner tube, (to keep it from shorting out on the metal brackets) a few zip ties and some help from my "handi helper"Sari Sue, the thing is back up and running.
Yay!!! (Fingers are crossed it stays that way!) We celebrated Memorial Day weekend inside due to the extremely hot weather we have been having…
oh wait that's a bit of a lie. It was freaking cold and gray outside.
But we still got our corn on the cob.**
Lincoln and Sari chased a Killdeer around the yard before finally finding its babies.

We hurried and took a picture before they put it back.

I have been saving up to buy my sister-in –law's hot tub. I even began to disassemble the little green house that is such an eyesore in my yard to put the hot tub in. But just when I finally had enough money saved…. I got a bit distracted bit by the over grown flower bed full of weeds. So now I had some money burning a hole in my pocket… Oooh, I know I'll build a patio over the flower bed. Then get a hot tub too! (in a few years.. maybe J) so here is the progress on my patio. Coming along good huh…L
Then I looked over at my front flower bed. It looked a bit bland.
Wah-laa!!
It now has color and next year it will have even more.( hopefully)**
On a different note.
Aaron's Grandma Funk has discovered she has cancer. So after many doctor visits she has decided to live out the time she has as she is. I don't blame her. Aaron and I went down to see her a couple of weekends ago and she looked better than I have ever seen her. She came out to greet us and when we went out to dinner she ate whatever she wanted and loved it. We hope to take the kids down to see her very soon . We loved the visit but it was too short. We got to St, Goerge at 8:00 at night and left the next day at 1:30. It was quick but worth it. We love you Grandma and we'll see you soon!
